Invest ecologically and sustainably. Unique plastic recycling technology.
ENESPA AG will start operating one of the first plants to process mixed plastic waste into high-quality paraffin oil using the thermolysis process. This technology enables for the first time the lucrative circular economy of mixed plastic waste without CO2 emissions. Our modular system needs only 1 hour for the heating process - crucial for economic operation (large plants need up to several days). With our partner we have 3 years of experience in continuous operation of thermolysis plants.
We offer bondholders the opportunity to be very close to the future market of plastics recycling. With our thermolysis process, we have exactly what the future needs: Huge quantities of plastic will not simply disappear, for example in the sea or in landfills, nor will they be incinerated, but recycled cleanly and sensibly into high-quality paraffin oil.
The progress of the project is continuously described and updated on the web. The status of the work spring 2020:
The modular concept of our thermolysis plant enables highly economical operation. Simple capacity multiplications, with little increase in costs, result in considerable revenues. In addition, the income from recycling fees adds up with the sale of the kerosene oil. The modular concept guarantees uninterrupted operation. While modules are being overhauled, production continues.

Unique selling proposition (USP)
Modular recycling system on an industrial level, which in a continous process returns plastics to their origin in a CO2-neutral closed system. The result is a high quality kerosene oil which is reused in the production process of new even white plastic producst. Thus waste becomes raw material again. A real up-cycling!

The business with plastic waste
Anyone in Switzerland who wants to recycle used plastic has to pay for the service. Waste disposal and logistics companies earn good money with it.
Plastic waste is actually too valuable for the trash bag
Yet millions of plastic bottles and many other plastic packaging materials would be a valuable raw material.
700 kilograms of waste per capita
A comparison of OECD countries reveals that Switzerland ranks third in municipal waste generation per capita. At the same time, it plays a pioneering role in waste recycling.
Sea turtles threatened by plastic
All seven species of sea turtles are threatened by plastic waste. This is revealed in a review study by British scientists. Dangers include ingestion, entanglement or unusable breeding beaches.
